On June 11-18, 2023, the First International Chemistry Olympiad named after Al-Biruni was held in Khiva, Uzbekistan.
Tehsil.biz reports that schoolchildren from 16 countries participated in the Olympiad.
Our country was represented by 4 schoolchildren in the said competition.
So, Nihad Hajizadeh and Deniz Sattarli, students of X and XI grades of Turkey Dayanat Vaqfi Baku Turkish Lyceum, Hamid Khalilov, XI grade student of Ganja Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Oriented Lyceum, Seljan Shafizadeh, XI grade student of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics Orientation Lyceum in Baku, in the Olympiad they performed successfully and won a bronze medal.
