Differences between Colleges, Universities and Institutes
Institutions that issue diplomas in the United States can be expressed in any of these terms. Colleges and institutes are in no way inferior to universities. As a general rule, colleges are smaller and focus only on the bachelor's program, while universities also offer higher education than the bachelor's degree. The words "school", "college" and "university" will be used differently in this article. An institute specializes in degree programs in areas that are largely interrelated. Thus, you participate in degree programs at institutes such as the Institute of Technology, the Institute of Fashion, the Institute of Art and Design. Every college or university has faculties such as art faculty, science faculty or enterprise faculty. Each faculty, university, or college is responsible for degree programs.

Private universities
The investment of private universities consists of a combination of grants, tuition fees, research assistance and gifts from graduates. Tuition fees are higher for provincial universities, but there is no discrimination against "those living in the province" or "those living outside the province." Religious or same-sex colleges are private. In general, there are less than 20,000 students in private universities, while the number of students in private colleges is less than 2,000.

Community College
The college offers two-year undergraduate programs, also known as associate of arts (A.A.) or associate of science (A.S.) programs, as well as teaching excellent technical and vocational programs. The college is a state-based institution with links to high schools, government agencies and employers. Many American students stay close to camp with their families. The college can be sometimes private or sometimes public. These schools are sometimes referred to as Junior Colleges or two-year colleges. International students are more likely to choose a college education. Tuition fees for 2-year colleges are often lower than for 4-year colleges. And many others have agreed to transfer the student and continue the bachelor's program at the local provincial university for the third year.

Bachelor's and Vocational Schools
It usually takes 4 years to complete a bachelor's degree, but some students complete it in less time, while others complete it in a longer time. Vocational schools usually last 2 years. School programs offer so-called "Terminal" programs, which are called career-oriented programs after graduation, or "Transfer" programs, the first two years of which are at the bachelor's level and focus on higher sciences such as science, history, or philosophy. Thus, in the 3rd year, he can transfer to a 4-year bachelor's program. The programs here are taught in two-year colleges known as colleges. 4-year colleges and universities offer undergraduate programs, as well as a small number of specialty programs.

The academic year begins in October and ends in May, although there are slight differences for each university and college. The semester can be divided into so-called 18-week periods. For example, there may be 12-week periods, referred to as "quarters" or "trimesters." In addition, universities often offer a 6- to 8-week spring period. Depending on this desire, they may want to graduate as soon as possible, reduce the number of lessons during the normal period, or compensate for the course they failed during the period. There are two main holiday periods: a "winter break" between 2 and 4 weeks (December-January) and sometimes a 1-week "spring break" between early March and mid-April.
