Tehsil.biz reports with reference to "Qafqazinfo" that Gulnara Iskenderova, who worked as the department head of the College of Humanities at the University of Culture and Arts (ADMIU), who was accused in the Baku Court of Serious Crimes and arrested in the courtroom in April this year, and the employees of the Medical University, Kamala Aliyeva and Elmira Babayeva, have appealed. the complaint was satisfied. The court overturned the prison sentence against them and each of them was sentenced to a suspended sentence and released from the courtroom on August 25.

It should be noted that G. Isganderova was sentenced to 6 years and 6 months, and K. Aliyeva and E. Babayeva were sentenced to 6 years.

Starting from 2017, G. Isganderova took 126,500 AZN from a total of 21 people, using her position as a servant, in collusion with AMU employees, in the name of preparing them for various positions at the Medical University. According to the accusation, he defrauded citizens and incited them to pay bribes, and prepared fake orders on behalf of the University for them to be employed in various positions at the university.

It should be recalled that a criminal case was opened against them in December 2021, and the General Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General started investigating the case.
