A scandal occurred on the first working day of the newly appointed director of Goychay district Children's Music School.

Tehsil.biz reports with reference to "APA" that the head of the Agdash Regional Culture Department Sakhavat Mammadov dismissed Rovshan Zamanov, who headed the Goychay district Children's Music School for many years, and appointed Gunay Hajiyeva, who worked as a theory teacher at the Agdash music school, as the director. The collective of the music school gathered and protested against the new appointment.

The employees told the local office of APA that the newly appointed director Gunay Hajiyeva graduated from Shaki Music College and her management skills are low. Goychay Children's Music School employs highly educated music teachers who have been active for many years and have sufficient management skills. The protesting teachers want the director of the school where they work to be selected and appointed a person with a higher education from among their staff.

It should be noted that today around 8:30 a.m. the staff of the Goychay District Children's Music School gathered in the lobby of the educational institution and did not let the newly appointed director Gunay Hajiyeva enter the door, the teachers protested and kicked him out of the school.

Regarding the matter, the head of Agdash Regional Culture Department Sakhavat Mammadov told the local office of APA that Gunay Hajiyeva, who has about 20 years of work experience, was appointed director of the Goychay Children's Music School by his order, and she was presented to the staff yesterday with her presence. This morning, for some reason, there was resentment against him at school. Sakhavat Mammadov said that a commission consisting of representatives of the regional administration has been sent to that school, the issue will be investigated, and he will go to the school and meet with the staff again in the second half of the day.
