Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, author and historian David McCullough has died at the age of 89.

Kulis.az reports that "Simon & Schuster" publishing house, where the writer's books are published, announced on Twitter.

Note that McCullough passed away on Sunday, August 7 in Hingham, Massachusetts. No other details were given.
