Anar Mammadzadeh, a student of Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU), a heroic martyr in the Patriotic War, was born on August 3, 1999 in Zardab district.

Tehsil.biz informs that Anar Mammadzade entered the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics of AzTU in 2016.

He served in the "N" military unit of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces in Baku until the beginning of the Patriotic War.

He participated in the Patriotic War, which started on September 27, 2020, to liberate our lands from occupation. He showed heroism in the fierce battles for the liberation of Fuzuli and Jabrayil. On October 8, Anar Mammadzade reached the peak of martyrdom in the battles for Fuzuli.

According to the orders of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, he was awarded the "For the Fatherland", "For the liberation of Fuzuli" and "Brave warrior" medals.
