The issue of expanding cooperation between ASOSU and Georgian higher education institutions was discussed

Rector of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASUU) Professor Mustafa Babanli met with the Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze.

This was reported by ASOCI.

At the meeting, which was attended by vice-rectors of ASOSU and representatives of the mentioned embassy, ​​relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia based on historical roots were discussed, including the current cooperation in the field of education.
Rector M. Babanli spoke about the achievements in the field of education at ASOSU, and said that 63 Georgian students are studying at this university.

Ambassador Zurab Pataradze noted that he is aware of the qualified engineers trained by ASOCI (AzII) and working in different countries. Saying that friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia are unbreakable, the ambassador said that the cooperation of our countries is developing. Z. Pataradze said that a series of events will be held in connection with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and that ASOCI will be a partner educational institution in terms of education. He proposed the establishment of the Georgian Cultural Center at the ASOSU, as well as the establishment of a center with the same content related to Azerbaijan in any of the best higher education institutions of Georgia.

In the end, discussions were held regarding the expansion of cooperation.
