A meeting was held with James Lyle Sharp, the ambassador of Great Britain to Azerbaijan, and Nargiz Hajiyeva, the country director of the "British Council" organization, at the State Agency for Vocational Education.

Jeyhun Karamov, acting as the director of the agency, gave detailed information about the reforms carried out in vocational education and the work done in the direction of increasing the scope and quality of education. The results of the activities within the framework of the "Development of new professional qualifications in agriculture", "Skills for employment program" and "Crafting Futures" projects were discussed with the "British Council". The meeting also discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the State Agency for Vocational Education and the "British Council" in the direction of improving the content of vocational education, apprenticeship with a master, teaching technical English.
