"Report" informs that this was said by Jeyhun Karamov, the deputy director of the State Agency for Vocational Education, acting director temporarily.

According to him, by the end of 2026, the number of people attending vocational education is expected to increase to 11,000.

J. Karamov said that there is a 50 percent increase compared to previous years.

He also emphasized that the market economy is taken into account when developing new educational programs.

"Forty-five percent of those who come to vocational education go to vocational schools located in Baku, and the remaining percent to schools in the regions. This year's admission plan has increased by 10 percent," the deputy director added.
