Fidan Babayeva is one of the 22 students of Baku Higher Oil School who were awarded the Presidential Scholarship in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev “On Granting the Presidential Scholarship to Students Admitted to Higher Educational Institutions in the 2020/2021 Academic Year".

She scored the combined maximum score of 694.2 points in high school graduation exams (294.2 points) and university entrance exams (400 points) held by the State Examination Center. Fidan Babayeva is one of the top five university entrants who scored the greatest number of points in the country.

She is currently studying at the Information Security Department of Baku Higher Oil School.

Fidan Babayeva is a graduate of the Physics, Math and Informatics Lyceum in Yasamal district in Baku. 

Fidan Babayeva was born in Nakhchivan. She started her secondary education at high school No. 220 in Nizami district in Baku. From the 8th grade, Fidan Babayeva continued her education at the Physics, Math and Informatics Lyceum in Yasamal district.

In 2018 and 2019, Fidan Babayeva participated in the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad in Italy and Ukraine. In 2019, she participated in the Balkan Mathematical Olympiad in Greece and was awarded a bronze medal. In 2019 and 2020, Fidan Babayeva participated in the Republican Subject Olympiads in Mathematics and was awarded bronze and silver medals.
