The V "Animafilm" International Animation Festival will be held in Baku from September 7 to 11.

Tehsil.biz informs that the selection committee of the festival announced the list of films included in the competition program. The list is published on the festival's official website www.animafilm.az.

All selected films will be judged by an international and children's jury, and the winners will be announced at the opening and closing ceremonies of the festival.

This year's festival included 230 films from 50 different countries. The selection commission accepted 75 films from 29 countries for the competition. These films will compete in 1 domestic and 6 international categories. In addition, the "Viewer's Choice" contest is also announced this year. The winner of "Audience's Choice" will be determined based on the results of audience voting during festival film screenings.

It should be noted that this year's festival, which will be held with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is dedicated to the theme of "Climate Change". Within the framework of the festival, along with the screening and discussion of films related to climate change, a large charity action will be held. Thus, all the funds obtained from the ticket sales of the festival will be used for tree planting in the country. Ticket sales information will be announced soon.
