On March 15, 2022, an event was held at Mingachevir State University on the occasion of Novruz holiday.

Opening the event in the courtyard of the university, MSU Rector Shahin Bayramov congratulated the staff and students of the university on the occasion of Novruz holiday and conveyed his best wishes. Emphasizing that they are proud of the burning of the Novruz bonfire in our dogmatic Karabakh, our cultural capital Shusha, thanks to our Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the brave Azerbaijani soldier, the rector prayed to God for the martyrs who died for the liberation of our lands and wished healing to our veterans.

Speaking at the event, MSU Associate Professor Namaz Manafov spoke about the history of Novruz holiday and gave detailed information about the main features of this national holiday of the Azerbaijani people.

Then, MSU students performed music dedicated to the Novruz holiday, performed dances and demonstrated scenes.

Along with employees and students of the university, members of the MSU Public Oversight Board also took part in the event.
