Nazim Huseynov has been appointed director of the "Azerbaijanfilm" film studio named after Jafar Jabbarli.

Minister Anar Karimov signed a relevant order in this regard.

Nazim Fikret oglu Huseynov was born in Baku. He studied at the Petroleum Faculty of the Azerbaijan State Institute of Oil and Chemistry named after M.Azizbeyov (1990), the Academy of Economics and Civil Service under the President of the Russian Federation, specializing in public and municipal administration (2018). He worked as the financial director of the Independent Television Company "215 KL" (1992-1997, 1999-2010), the director of the advertising and commercial department of the Space Television and Radio Company (1997-1999), the deputy director of the Documentary Film Studio "Chronicle". He served as director of the Azerbaijanfilm film studio (2020).

He was the executive director of the II Baku International Sports Film Festival, III, IV, V Baku International Tourism Film Festival. Since 2013, he has been the director of the Salnamefilm studio. He is the producer of several feature films and more than 60 documentaries.
