The competition "Thinking reader" has started among students of V-IX grades of general education institutions. The aim is to improve students' reading and independent learning skills, develop their critical, logical and creative thinking, and form a culture of opinion. The competition will be organized in cooperation with local publishers.

The school stage of the competition, consisting of 3 stages, will be held from January 5 to 21 in general education institutions, the district (city) stage from January 24 to February 7 in the regions, the national stage from February 8 to 21, 2022 in Baku in the format of video presentation evaluation.

Within the framework of the competition, students must read a work in the "List of reading literature" determined by the Ministry of Education on the basis of books submitted to the libraries of general education institutions and prepare a video presentation.

In the video presentation, which lasts a maximum of 5 minutes, the student should analyze the theme and idea of ​​the work of art and evaluate its impact on it. I know?" must answer at least one of the questions.

At the end, the winners will be awarded with diplomas and prizes.
