Turkish businessman Rifat Sari, 60, draws attention with his success story, which stretches from wiping yellow shoes to exports to 40 countries.

He started removing shoes at the age of 10 to help support his family, who moved from Kars to Manisa. After graduating from elementary school, he began his apprenticeship in a shoe factory, became a shoemaker at the age of 17, and continued his career in the military.

The company, which at the time produced 24 pairs of men's shoes and modernized with new technology, now has the capacity to produce 1,000 pairs of shoes a day.

The company, which first exported shoes to Germany in 1985, now exports about $ 2 million worth of shoes to 40 countries, including Europe, the Middle East, the Caucasus and Central Asia.
