Employees of Aegean University continue teaching at the Agrarian University

According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Azerbaijan State Agrarian University and the Aegean University of Turkey within the framework of the “State Program on Increasing the International Competitiveness of the Higher Education System in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019-2023” approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 16, 2018 2020/2021 Since the second academic year, on the basis of a dual program with the Aegean University of Turkey, training in "agronomy", "plant protection", "agroengineering" and "economics" is carried out.

According to Tehsil.biz, a group of teachers from Ege University came to the Agrarian University to teach in the relevant specialties and started classes in the new academic year.

In the current academic year, to teach first-year students and participate in research work in relevant fields at the university, 9 faculty members from Ege University in Izmir, Turkey: Prof. Dr. Ismail Turkan (Biology and Botany), Prof. Dr. Bülent Çakmak (Career Planning, Informatics, Occupational Safety), Prof. Dr. Urfat Nuriyev (Mathematics), Prof. Dr. Hülya Atıl (Statistics), Assoc. Süleyman Gülcemal (General Chemistry), teacher Seda Beydes (Foreign Language), Prof. Dr. Bekir Keskin (Zoology), head teacher Yilmaz Ozkaya (Turkish) Prof. Dr. Omur Cakirli (Physics I) came to the Agrarian University.

It should be noted that within the dual degree program, thirty students can be admitted to each of these specialties in the 2021-2022 academic year, thirty in the 2022-2023 academic year, and thirty in the 2023-24 academic year.
