How many classes have been transferred to distance education in Azerbaijan so far - OFFICIAL STATEMENT

To date, 241 classes have been transferred to distance education in Azerbaijan.

The statement came from the Ministry of Education in response to a request from Report, Tehsil.biz reports.

It was noted that 35 of them have already returned to full-time education, and distance education continues in 206 classes.

It was noted that full-time education was restored in 26 of the 140 classes transferred to distance education in Baku. Distance education continues in 114 classes.

It was also noted that the COVID-19 test of several students and teachers of the Republican Humanitarian Gymnasium named after S.C. Peshawari under the Ministry of Education was positive. Based on the opinion of the Narimanov District Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to organize distance learning in the gymnasium for 14 days from today.

It should be noted that full-time education began on September 22 in grades 1-4, and on September 29 in grades 5-11, as well as in all educational institutions.
