A meeting was held between the leadership of the Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU) and a delegation led by the Hungarian ambassador to Azerbaijan.

According to Tehsil.biz, the rector of AMU, Professor Garay Garaybeyli informed the guests about the improvement of the curriculum, innovations applied in the educational process. Noting that 4 new specialties were opened at AMU last year, Professor Garaybeyli said that along with local students, foreign students also benefited from these opportunities.

Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Viktor Szederkenyi said that there are high-level diplomatic and political relations between his country and Azerbaijan, including education.

Speaking about the importance of establishing relations with medical universities in Hungary, the embassy's diplomat for culture and education Mihaly Gruber invited AMU rector Professor Garaybeyli to his country.

The meeting was attended by AMU Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Orkhan Isayev, Head of the Press Service Gunel Aslanova.

Then the guests met with a group of Hungarian and other foreign students studying at AMU and exchanged views with them on the educational process.
