Baku has been selected as one of the pilot cities in the international project in which ADNSU is a partner

Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (ADNSU) participates as a partner university in the international project "CAMPAIGNers" developed by the Energy Institute of the Johannes Kepler University in Austria.

In the research work carried out within the project, Baku was selected as one of the "Lighthouse Cities". Baku residents, municipal and executive representatives, researchers, decision-makers and officials of government agencies were involved in the survey, which is an important part of the study. The measurements will be carried out in Baku - Milan, Izmir, Lahti, Linz, Skopelos, DAFNI, Trois Rivieres, Freistadt, Vilnius, Pesaro, Grenoble, Dublin, Malmö, Cape Town and Libertad. The project representative for ADNSU, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Associate Professor I. Rustamov, noted that the main purpose of the survey is to support the solution of problems caused by climate change in humans.

It should be noted that the project, which began in May 2021, has 28 partners, 14 of which are from foreign countries (Azerbaijan, Turkey, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, France, Finland, Greece, Italy, Ireland, South). Africa, Lithuania and Peru), universities, research institutions and other organizations. The project will develop a mobile application called CAMPAIGNers to disseminate and use the results in society.
