Preparations for the autumn-winter season have begun in general education institutions under the Baku City Education Department (BCED).

Tehsil.biz reports that the condition of roofs, windows and entrance doors of educational institutions is being checked, measures are being taken to ensure the efficient use of security resources.

The ITUC regularly instructs the heads of educational institutions on the technical condition of fire protection devices, pools and pumps, periodically instructs workers and students on fire safety rules depending on the characteristics of the educational and production areas, identifies those responsible for this purpose and was instructed to ensure the implementation of measures. Also, the necessary instructions are given in terms of labor protection for the operation of boilers.

It should be noted that 133 of the general education institutions operating under the auspices of the ITUC are supplied by "Azeristilik" OJSC in a centralized manner, 179 through a private boiler house, and 7 individually and in a centralized manner.

Issues related to the preparation of schools for the autumn-winter season are regularly monitored. Information received from the field, deficiencies identified on the basis of monitoring are submitted to the relevant authorities.
