A meeting was held at the university with the graduates of the 2021-2022 academic year, organized by the Department of Science and Innovations and the Student Scientific Society. Rector of Nakhchivan State University Elbrus Isayev congratulated every master admitted to the university and wished them success.

The rector said that 226 masters were admitted to the master's program this year against 250 places, noting that the admission rate was more than 90 percent. It was noted that this is the highest result we have achieved so far. Speaking about the importance of the master's degree in the training of qualified personnel, the rector stressed that today the graduates of the university's master's degree make important contributions to the education of the autonomous republic.

It was noted that the high level of care for education in the autonomous republic places a great responsibility on educators and students. Thus, along with modern teaching methods, students have both theoretical knowledge and practical base in higher education institutions with a wide range of material and technical base, young people learn to work with more flexible, innovative methods. Speaking about the work done in the field of master's degree training at the university, Elbrus Isayev noted that serious work is being done in the field of master's degree training. It was noted that starting from this academic year, master's dissertations will be tested at the university through a special program. The rector has set a special obligation to the masters, and specific tasks have been identified.

Speaking about master's degree training at Nakhchivan State University, Etibar Mammadov, director of the Master's Center, said that the university, which started teaching master's degree in 24 specialties in 1997, is currently training 77 specialties in both courses.

It was noted that as a result of the care shown to education in the autonomous republic, the dean's office for master's degree operates in a building that has been thoroughly reconstructed and equipped with modern means of communication. It was noted that masters take advantage of this opportunity to participate in scientific conferences held in various universities of the country and abroad.

Speaking about "Academic Career Planning and Volunteering", Rza Mammadov, Head of the Department of Science and Innovations, noted that the announcement of 2020 as the Year of Volunteerism in our country has created conditions for the purposeful implementation of activities in this field at our university. It was noted that last year, the department headed by volunteer masters evaluated the activities of masters, and those who successfully completed this activity were provided with jobs at the university.

Chairman of the Student Scientific Society Tabriza Bagirova spoke about the role of students in the development of scientific activities of the university, the successful activities of TEC in the last academic year were brought to the attention of participants with videos.

Fuad Babayev, Chairman of the TEC Master's Council, spoke about the duties and responsibilities of the Master's Council in the 2021-2022 academic year.

At the end, Turkan Guliyeva, who works as a volunteer in the Department of Science and Innovations of the university, spoke about the special attention and care shown to students at the university and presented her painting "Landscape of Nakhchivan" to the rector.
