An educational event entitled "Word and Image" was held in Baku on October 5-6 to strengthen cultural ties between the Russian Federation and the Commonwealth of Independent States and increase the importance of learning the Russian language.

It should be noted that the educational event was organized by the Russian Information and Cultural Center and the St. Petersburg Institute for Humanitarian Education and Testing.

Students of Baku Slavic University, who took part in the event, were awarded certificates.
