An event on "Nizami's human philosophy" was organized by the Faculty of Librarianship and Information of Baku State University (BSU) and the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

In his introductory speech, Ramin Samadov, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Policy of BSU, noted the importance of declaring 2021 the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" in Azerbaijan by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated January 5, 2021. He stressed that the implementation of the tasks created great opportunities for the re-examination and comprehensive study of Nizami's legacy. He noted that the celebration of the anniversaries of prominent personalities of Azerbaijan, the promotion of their heritage has always been in the focus of our great leader Heydar Aliyev. Emphasizing that the decision "On measures to further improve the study, publication and promotion of the legacy of the great Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi" was adopted in 1979 on the initiative of the Great Leader, the speaker noted that in 1981 Today, Mr. President Ilham Aliyev said it was successfully continued. He noted that conferences of international and national importance, literary and artistic events and discussions were held at BSU within the framework of the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi".

Then Aygun Bagirli, Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor, “Social Ideal of Nizami”, Zahra Allahverdiyeva, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor reported on the topic. Both reports were listened to with great interest by the audience.
