A meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Bilal Haye was held at the West Caspian University.

According to Tehsil.biz, the meeting highlighted Pakistan's support for Azerbaijan's just cause during the Great Patriotic War, emphasizing that official Islamabad did not establish any diplomatic relations with Armenia due to the occupation.

The ambassador said that Azerbaijan had restored historical justice with its victory in the Second Karabakh War and implemented UN resolutions at its own expense.

Haye noted the potential for the development of Pakistani-Azerbaijani relations in the field of education, as well as cooperation with the Western Caspian University.

Afterwards, the ambassador answered the students' questions and wished them success in their studies.
