On October 12, second-year master's students majoring in Earth Sciences at the Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ) under the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry visited Lahij.

Students are UFAZ teachers, invited professors from France Cecile Robin, Marc Jolivet, UFAZ Earth Science Coordinators Clara Jodry, Elshan Abdullayev, Assistant Kamal Bayramov, Secretary General Elizaveta Bydanova, teachers of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Talat Kangarli and Shafag accompanied Bayramova.

On the first day of the scientific experiment, the students studied the depiction of the section, the deposition of the layers with the help of a compass and determined the lithological composition of the rocks in that section. In addition, they identified the fractures at the intersection.

The field practice of UFAZ master students will last 5 days. The purpose of the program is to put into practice the scientific and theoretical knowledge acquired by students. 15 UFAZ students take part in the field practice.
