The first week of the training visit of the heads of selected vocational schools to Turkey has been successfully completed

The training and internship visit for the heads of 15 vocational education institutions selected to study best practices in the management of vocational education institutions, which started on October 3, continues successfully.

As part of the training visit, the heads of vocational education institutions visited Alibeykoy Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School on October 9. Hakan Eren, head of the company, which specializes in telecommunications, electricity, mechanical engineering, metals, chemicals and automotive technology, welcomed the guests and made an opening speech. Mr. Eren briefed the participants on the work being done in Turkey on the management of vocational education, in particular the promotion of sustainable investment.

Speaking at the event, the representative of the Turkish Chamber of Industry Meltem Arioglu stressed the importance of cooperation with the private sector, and gave detailed information about the cooperation and mechanisms of private sector representatives in the country with professional enterprises. Afterwards, Recep Arslan made a presentation on the company's cooperation with the private sector in the field of elevator production. Vedat Sunbuloglu, a representative of the Mercedes-Benz training center, said that the training centers established in vocational schools to meet the need for qualified specialists in the industry play a special role in professional development.

At the end, as part of the info-tour organized at the institution, acquaintance with various workshops, teaching organization, teaching staff located here took place. The 6th day of the training ended with an informative visit to historical sites in the Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul, accompanied by the Eyüpsultan guide.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the visit within the "Protocol on Cooperation in Vocational Education signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey" on February 19, 2021 is to study best practices in Turkey in the management of vocational education institutions. The study tour is scheduled to last until October 17.
