Today, the Baku Court of Grave Crimes continued the trial on the criminal case of Durdana Aliyeva, former head of the department of additional and correspondence education of Baku Slavic University (BSU).

According to Report, the victims testified at the trial chaired by Judge Ali Mammadov.

Zarachakmish said that he received a master's degree from BSU: "Because the tuition fee was paid, I had to pay 1,700 manat a year. Durdana Aliyeva called me and I paid the tuition fee, this process took 3 years. Then I went to Durdana Aliyeva again to get a job. He told me to take the exam and then let him know. I scored 47 points in the exam. They accepted me as a teacher in high school. Therefore, Durdana Aliyeva asked me for 12,000 manat. I brought the money with my wife and gave it to Durdana Aliyeva in her room. I started working as a teacher at secondary school No. 99 near our house. But it turned out that I was temporarily hired to replace a teacher on social leave. I was fired after 6 months. I am currently unemployed. I have to take an additional exam to get a job at another school. I am complaining about Durdana Aliyeva. , let him return my money. "

Later, another victim, Sariya Akhundova, was interrogated. He said that 1,200 manat tuition fee was appropriated by D.Aliyeva: “I graduated from Baku State University with a bachelor's degree in journalism. I met Durdana Aliyeva at Baku Slavic University. I entered the 1-year education program. At the beginning of the class, Durdana Aliyeva called me and asked for tuition. Initially, I paid 1,000 manats, and after a while, 200 manats. But he did not give me any receipt for tuition. When she demanded a receipt for the money I paid, Durdana Aliyeva signed a certificate stating that she had actually received 1,200 manat in tuition fees from me.

The victim, Shamsiyya Huseynova, also testified that Aliyeva misappropriated her tuition fee: "I paid 1,500 manat for each year."

The trial will continue on October 18.

It should be noted that the General Directorate for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General's Office conducted an investigation into the head of the department of additional and correspondence education of Baku Slavic University (BSU), associate professor Durdana Aliyeva.

Numerous complaints about Durdana Aliyeva's illegal actions have been investigated. A criminal case has been launched against him under Articles 178.3.2 (fraud committed with extensive damage), 32.4, 312.2 (incitement to bribery), 311.1 (bribery) of the Criminal Code.
