A training and internship visit to the Republic of Turkey has started on October 3 for the heads of 15 vocational education institutions selected to study best practices in the management of vocational education institutions.

The first day of the training was opened by Mahmoud Asmali, head of the Istanbul Provincial Education Department and the Association of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen (MUSIAD). Then, Associate Professor Dr. Hanifi Parlar held a discussion on "The key to leadership in modern vocational education: change, innovation, progress." Sharing his views on "Vocational Education in Turkey", Talha Bektas, Director of Istanbul Airport Vocational and Technical High School, gave an interesting lecture on the importance and evaluation of vocational education institutions in Turkey during the pandemic. The study tour is scheduled to last until October 17.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the visit within the "Protocol on Cooperation in Vocational Education signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey" on February 19, 2021 is to study best practices in Turkey in the management of vocational education institutions. 15 leaders of vocational education institutions from Baku and different regions will participate in trainings in various areas for 2 weeks, as well as will be able to benefit from on-site experience in organizing activities in specialized vocational education institutions.
