The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations regularly conducts a campaign to promote religious monuments and mosques in the liberated territories via the Internet, and to inform about the Armenian atrocities they faced during the occupation. "One of the targets of the Armenian occupation and terrorist acts against Azerbaijan is our historical and religious monuments.

Azerbaijan is a multi-convention country and has historically had various religious and cultural monuments. For centuries, cultural and religious monuments belonging to every nation living in our country, regardless of religion, language or nationality, have been preserved at a high level.

Our monuments, which contain national affiliation and ancient history, national and religious traditions, have been completely destroyed. Attempts were made to Armenianize, privatize and replace these monuments. Occupied monuments, as well as other cultural monuments were destroyed, changed under the guise of repair and insulted. These acts, which are considered a crime against humanity in international conventions, are an aggression against all human culture. Under the pretext of repair work, our enemy made serious changes in the interior of the Yukhari Govhar Agha mosque in Shusha, the pearl of Karabakh. is.

During the war, the Armenian armed forces also used various weapons and heavy artillery in several directions, damaging our monuments. The fire damaged the tomb of Sheikh Babi, a historical and architectural monument of national importance in the Fizuli region, and a historical monument in Ganja. At present, Armenia, pursuing an aggressive and chauvinist policy, poses a serious threat to international and regional security, peace and stability in the region. President Ilham Aliyev, who has always been known for his high attention and care for religious values, is restoring all our mosques destroyed by Armenians, which are an important part of Azerbaijan's historical and cultural heritage.

The State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations regularly disseminates information on the recognition of religious monuments and mosques liberated from occupation and the Armenian atrocities they suffered during the occupation. This is a very positive step.
