As it is known, a number of amendments were made to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Civil Service” by the Law No. 340-VIQD dated May 31, 2021. The amendments to the law cover recruitment to the civil service, continuation of activities in the civil service, promotion in the civil service, management of reserve personnel and other issues. On August 5, 2021, the State Examination Center organized an online meeting on "Changes in the legislation on civil service and issues of application" with the participation of representatives of government agencies through the "ZOOM" platform.

The meeting was attended by 148 representatives from 134 government agencies of the central executive and judicial authorities.

Vugar Asgarov, Head of the Civil Service Department of the Center, made a presentation on "Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Civil Service". The participants were informed about the changes in the legislation on civil service and their application, admission to the civil service, continuation of activities in the civil service, promotion, service management and other issues.

At the end of the event, topical issues on civil service were discussed and participants' questions were answered.

It should be noted that, taking into account the numerous appeals of citizens regarding the relevant changes, it will be broadcast live next week on the Facebook page of the State Examination Center. During the broadcast, the questions of the audience will be answered by the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
