How to eat is especially important for diabetics. That is, the portion of food and what time of day to eat are important factors. Most nutritionists do not allow diabetics to eat fruit. However, I think that diabetics can eat a small amount of fruit.

Specialist of the Azerbaijan Medical University, nutritionist and nutritionist Vafa Asgarli said that the lives of diabetics depend on proper nutrition.

According to the expert, nutritionist claims that nutrition determines the quality of life, lifestyle and the strength of the body in general.

V.Asgarli stressed that diabetics must follow certain rules when taking fruit: “Fruit has a high glycemic index (high level of blood glucose). Therefore, it is normal for the blood sugar level to rise as soon as the fruit is digested. To prevent exacerbation of the disease, it is necessary to take a vegetable before eating fruit. For example, eating a piece of cucumber helps to cleanse the stomach, intestines, as well as the liver. That is, people suffering from diabetes can use the fruit, provided that it is legal.

The doctor-specialist also informed about the science of nutrition: “Nutrition is not a traditional medical field, but the level of preventive medicine. Nutrition is the improvement of quality of life through a balanced and effective diet. A nutritionist cannot prescribe medication. This science believes that only a healthy diet can improve the quality of life. Most importantly, it emphasizes the benefits of nutrition in the treatment and prevention of patients. No nutritionist has the right to prescribe drugs or even biological supplements to a patient. ”

One of the causes of diabetes is a lack of vitamin D in the blood. According to the science of nutrition, it is not necessary to use capsules or ampoules in the form of drops to take vitamin D. Especially in the hot months, we can meet the need for vitamin D through the sun. You do not need to be afraid of the sun. Vitamin D is important for the normal functioning of the body's metabolism. During the hot days of the sun, the body stores the necessary vitamin D. In cold weather, the body "uses" stored vitamins, and it is normal to have low levels of vitamin D in the blood during the analysis in April-May. Because the warming begins after those months. But, for example, if the analysis in July or August shows that the blood is low in vitamin D, then there is a problem in the body. Diabetics should have their blood vitamin D checked periodically. In addition, it is important to know that the most important factor is a healthy immune system. High blood sugar is just a symptom. During treatment, the causes of the symptoms must be eliminated.
