The book "History of Islam" by the Dean of the Faculty of Theology of the Azerbaijan Theological Institute (ATI), Associate Professor Elnura Azizova has been published.

The history of Islam is the development of the states established by Muslims on three continents over a period of fourteen centuries, and in a broader sense, the path traversed by the nearly 2 billion Muslim nations that now make up a quarter of the world's population. This work is dedicated to the political history of the time of the Prophet Muhammad, an incomparably important part of Islamic history.

The book is a source of early Islamic history; Political and economic situation of pre-Islamic Arabs; The social and religious situation of the pre-Islamic Arabs; Hijaz region and Mecca; The pre-Islamic life of the Prophet Muhammad; The activities of the Prophet Muhammad in Mecca; Political, economic and social consequences of migration; Fighting the Meccans; It consists of chapters on relations with non-Muslims and the spread of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Theological Institute is implementing a number of projects related to the publication of books and textbooks. Under the title "Theological Publications", the project includes the publication of books by our teachers and specialists working in this field, as well as works translated from different languages. At the same time, one of the goals of the Institute is to study the problems in the field of theology, to conduct research that meets international standards and to publish them.
