The "Open Door" week has ended at the Baku State Vocational Training Center for Industry and Innovation.

The State Agency for Vocational Education told Tehsil.biz that on July 8, the participants of the "Open Door" week were informed about the work done in recent years to expand vocational education in our country. The presentation of the Baku State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Innovation was made.

According to the presentation, the center, which consists of an administrative building, 2 workshops and 2 dormitories, has the opportunity to study 1,000 students. The center trains competitive personnel in accordance with modern requirements, ready for the needs of global industry. 60% of the lessons are practical, 20% are theoretical, and 20% are basic modules (business ethics, technical English, communication skills). The center has established cooperation with 94 companies in the framework of public-private partnership and signed more than 40 memorandums of understanding.

Elvin Dadashsoy, co-founder of Panda School Safavy Dadashsoy Business School, and Sanan Mammadov, service manager of Auto Azerbaijan, spoke about the important points for building a career.

Success stories of the students of the center were presented.

During the discussion session, parents 'and students' questions about professions were answered. A survey was conducted among the students participating in the event on choosing a specialty.

An info-tour was organized to get acquainted with the material and technical base of the center and workshops.
