According to Tehsil.biz, the people who run the site illegally demand money from parents in the name of state duty.
Those who run the "Ministry of Education" page, which has more than 3,000 followers on Instagram, are deceiving their parents. One of the parents, who faced such a problem, sent his correspondence to Khazar Khabar. The same parent wrote to the page "Ministry of Education" to change the class of the child in the school where he studied. The person who managed the page said that this was possible, but that 467 manat should be paid to the account number sent for this purpose in the name of state duty.
When the parent told the other party that the act was illegal, the person said that the amount was determined by the management.
As a parent, we went to that page to research the topic. We asked if our son was in 7th grade and how they could help him change his class. It was stated that we must pay a state fee of 321 manat for this.
The Ministry of Education also commented on the issue. Jasarat Valehov, head of the public relations department of the organization, said that the Ministry of Education does not have a page called "Ministry of Education" on Instagram. This page is fake. Just like on other social networks, the official registered page of the ministry on Instagram is called "edugovaz".
Jasarat Valehov said that if citizens face such situations, they can apply to the 146 hotline of the ministry and the official accounts of the agency on social networks. The Ministry of Education has already sent an official appeal to this social network to remove the fake page on Instagram.
