Lankaran and Ganja cities, Imishli, Saatli, Khachmaz, Guba, Yevlakh, Goychay, Zagatala, Jalilabad, Binagadi, Sabunchu schoolchildren of the region struggled.

The team of Jalilabad region took the first place, the team of Imishli region took the second place, and the team of Ganja city took the third place.

More than 2,000 schoolchildren from all regions and cities of the country took part in the tournament, which was held in 6 zones of the Olympic system.

In the competitions organized by the Ministries of Education, Youth and Sports, National Olympic Committee, Azerbaijan School Sports Federation in May-June 2021, students of all district and city general education institutions operating under the Ministry of Education played mini football (13-14 years old), athletics (13-14 years old), volleyball (boys, 14-15 years old), basketball (boys, 14-15 years old) sports.

It should be noted that the purpose of the tournament is to perpetuate the memory of our martyrs, to commemorate them, to strengthen the sense of patriotism among adolescents, to guide students to a healthy lifestyle, to effectively organize their leisure time, to increase interest in sports.

The tournament is held in accordance with the rules of a special quarantine regime.
