"Graduation Day" was held on June 30 at the Ismayilli State Vocational Training Center.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Education Idris Isayev, Head of the Ismayilli District Executive Power Nahid Bagirov.

Deputy Minister of Education Idris Isayev spoke about the priorities of the "State Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic of Azerbaijan" and "Strategic Roadmap for the Development of Vocational Education and Training in the Republic of Azerbaijan." The Deputy Minister stressed the importance of increasing the effectiveness of vocational training in the field of vocational education, the integration of employers into vocational education and the training of competitive qualified personnel for the country's economy.

Idris Isayev stressed the importance of providing vocational education institutions with modern infrastructure to contribute to the country's economy, sustainable socio-economic development and the training of qualified specialists.

At the end of his speech, the Deputy Minister congratulated the graduates of the 2020-2021 academic year and wished them success.

It was noted at the event that 140 students graduated from the center this academic year and 12 of them were provided with jobs in relevant institutions.

The event was also attended by officials of the State Agency for Vocational Education, representatives of companies acting as close employers of the center, honorary graduates, teachers and parents.

It should be noted that more than 13,300 graduates graduated from 72 vocational schools under the Ministry of Education in the 2020-2021 academic year.
