Nigar Babayeva (blue belt) and Rajabali Iskandarov (white belt), who are temporarily living in China, showed high results at the open Chinese championship organized by the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Federation in Tianjin. They dedicated their victories to our martyrs who died in the battles for the liberation of our occupied lands.

 

According to the "Gi" version of this sport, N.Babayeva won over all her rivals in the weight category of 68 kg and freestyle. Babayeva defeated Chinese Bo Sun in the final in both weight categories.

 

R. Iskandarov (according to the "Gi" version) competed in the weight category of 70 kilograms. In the first match, R. Iskandarov defeated the athlete from Great Britain with a score of 11: 0 and did not allow the Chinese athlete to open his eyes in the second round - 24: 0. This was the biggest victory in the championship. Our compatriot defeated local athletes in the semifinals and finals and won the competition.

 

Both professional and amateur athletes from Brazil, Japan, Russia, the United Kingdom and other countries competed in the open Chinese championship organized by the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Federation in Tienji.
