Ultraviolet rays can paralyze COVID-19 particles for up to 5 minutes.
This is stated in an article about the results of a study conducted by a team of experts led by Professor George Vondrak of the University of Arizona.
Experts have observed that under UV radiation, the particles of SARS-Cov-2 and Hcov-NL63 coronaviruses, which can damage cells, are reduced by 98% in 5 minutes and completely paralyzed in 20 minutes. Similar results were obtained in both strong and weak daylight.
