In Baku, a school principal keeps a child from a low-income family in the classroom.

According to Tehsil.biz, this was claimed by Ulviya Mustafayeva, a parent who sent a letter of complaint to the Report editorial office.

According to him, if the child studying at the secondary school No. 182 in the Binagadi district of Baku had to move to the 6th grade, the school administration instructed him to study in the 5th grade again.

The parent notes that his child was repeatedly abused by a teacher at school:

"My son studied until the third grade. Then the teacher repeatedly abused my child, and my child had serious health problems. The principal, Zinyat Tagiyeva, allowed my son not to come to school until he recovered. Then we continued our education at home due to the pandemic. During the transition to the 4th grade, I also had a problem with staying in the classroom. At that time, I went to school and demanded my child's documents to be expelled from school and go to the Ministry of Education. After long discussions, the issue was resolved and my son completed the 4th grade. ”

"This school year, I studied in the 5th grade, I did not go to school due to the pandemic, and I took care of my son's education at home. That is, I took responsibility for this work. We are a low-income family, we stay for rent. We bought the books ourselves. I was not told in time that I would write an undertaking not to send my son to school. I was also unaware of this. They didn't tell us, knowing that they would be assessed for the 6th grade. They say that the assessment does not apply to your child. The reason is that my son does not attend classes. Based on this, the principal demands that my son study in the 5th grade again. I explain that you gave permission for my son's health. I went to the school administration and they told me to complain wherever you want. I was repeatedly harassed and threatened. I appealed to the relevant authorities, and also to the "102 Call Service" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I live in fear, "Mustafayeva said.

The complainant also appealed to the Baku City Education Department, stating once again that his son was being kept in the classroom: "I said that during the pandemic, some concessions should be made and primary school students should not be kept in the classroom."

Director Zinyat Tagiyeva told Report that the student did not come to school even once this school year: "The parent did not write a letter of commitment or send his child for assessment. In this case, how can I transfer that student from class to class ?! Parent The teacher changed four times before the 4th grade, claiming that his son had been beaten by teachers. The student had to continue his education in the same class because he did not study in the 5th grade. He did not come to school to find out about the assessment.
