Starting from the next academic year, it will be possible to ensure that the majority of students receiving higher education are funded by the Education Student Loan Fund."
The statement came from Education Minister Emin Amrullayev at a briefing, Tehsil.biz reports.
The Minister said that the entry points will be taken into account at the initial stage when issuing loans:
"High results will be the first condition. Concessions will also be provided. This loan is not for commercial purposes. In the future, the Fund's contribution from various sources can be increased. If the loan is not repaid for any reason, the student will be given the right to deferment. The loan amount will be given not directly to the student, but to the institution of higher education.
