The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS was held.

It was noted that the Scientific Council was opened by the Vice-President of ANAS, Director General of the Institute, Academician Isa Habibbayli, who brought to the attention of the agenda and presented diplomas in the nomination "Scientist of the Year". Employees Gurban Bayramova and Sevda Mammadova were awarded honorary diplomas on the occasion of their 75th and 60th anniversaries, respectively.
Academician Isa Habibbayli commented on the important events of recent days: “The Shusha Declaration laid the foundation for a new reality. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the Milli Majlis. He also spoke about the anniversaries of the great poets of the Turkic world. It is no coincidence that this year has been declared the "Year of Yunus Emre" in Turkey. We must also show our support in this work. " The academician also gave detailed information about the work done at the academy in connection with the "Year of Yunus Emre" and "Nizami Ganjavi Year". He said that a separate essay was dedicated to Yunus Emre for the first time in the third volume of the ten-volume "History of Azerbaijani Literature".

Professor Feyzi Ersoy and associate professor Khuraman Hummatova informed about the events of Yunus Emre at the Institute of Literature and the preparation of Yunus Emre "Divan" for publication. Islam Garibov, Shirindil Alishanov, Rahim Aliyev, Nikpur Jabbarli informed the participants about the preparation for publication of the V-X volumes of the ten-volume "History of Azerbaijani Literature". Doctors of Philology Vagif Yusifli spoke about the state of preparation for the "Literary Process 2020" creative conference, Tahira Mammad on the state of preparation for the "Physics and Lyrics" conference, and associate professor Zahra Allahverdiyeva on the discussion of the dictionary "Nizami Ganjavi encyclopedia".

Samir Sattarov, the head of the Education Department, made proposals on changing the scientific advisers and scientific supervisors of the doctoral students of the institute. Scientific Secretary of the Institute, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Mehman Hasanli drew attention to other scientific-organizational and publishing issues on the agenda.
