A scientific seminar on "Heydar Aliyev - the founder of independent Azerbaijan" dedicated to "June 15 - National Salvation Day" was held at the History Faculty of Baku State University (BSU).

 

Welcoming the participants of the seminar, Acting Dean of the Faculty of History Ibrahim Zeynalov informed about "June 15 - National Salvation Day" and its special place and role in the history of independent Azerbaijan.

 

Javid Osmanov, Member of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Member of the Board of the New Azerbaijan Party, made a report on "Heydar Aliyev - the savior and founder of independent Azerbaijan." The rapporteur said that the greatness of leaders in human history is measured on the one hand by the importance of their work and creations, and on the other hand by the impact of their activities on the future. Individuals based on a deep philosophy, who are always able to keep pace with the times, make wise assessments of events, quickly assess their political potential, manage to direct the processes in society, save their peoples from the storms of time and become national saviors. Founder and architect of the independent Azerbaijani state, world-famous politician and great statesman, National Leader Heydar Aliyev immortalized in our modern history, showed unparalleled services to the homeland and people, mission of salvation, rich heritage of statehood in all periods of our republic's leadership. . The great leader Heydar Aliyev, who led Azerbaijan for more than a century, worked tirelessly for this noble cause, thinking not only during this period, but throughout his life, and gained constant love in the hearts and immortality in the memories because he sacrificed his life in this way.
