Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) hosted the online Olympiad "Engineer of the Future -2".

The Olympiad was attended by 275 11th grade students from Baku and other regions of Azerbaijan, trained in the I and II specialty groups. First, Rector Vilayat Valiyev greeted the students and wished them success. He said that the purpose of the Olympiad is to increase interest in engineering. The rector also spoke about the opportunities created for students at AzTU.

Then the Olympics started. Participants were presented with 2 questions on each of the subjects of physics and mathematics, chemistry and computer science. Students who violated the rules and tried to transfer were expelled from the competition.

It should be noted that the results of the Olympiad will be announced after verification by a working group of university teachers.

The winners will receive various prizes and certificates. In addition, if the first place entrant is admitted to AzTU, he will be awarded a special scholarship of the rector.

It should be noted that 185 11th grade students participated in the "Engineer of the Future -1" online Olympiad held at AzTU last year.
