A new ranking of the world's best universities has been announced

The international rating agency QS World University Rankings has announced a new ranking of higher education institutions around the world.

According to Tehsil.biz, the ranking is led by three universities - the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Oxford and Stanford Universities.

Only two Azerbaijani universities are included in the ranking. Thus, only Baku State University and Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) are on the list.

48 universities from Russia, 10 from Turkey, 6 from Iran and only 1 university from Georgia were included in this list. Armenian universities are not included in the ranking list.
