The European Union, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the State Agency for Vocational Education continue to hold "Open Days" for vocational training centers.

The purpose of the "Open Doors" days is to help raise awareness about vocational training centers, as well as to increase the attractiveness of vocational education for young people.

According to the State Agency for Vocational Education, this time the Jalilabad State Vocational Education Center has opened its doors to high school students, parents, teachers and private sector representatives in Jalilabad. As part of the event, the Vocational Training Center (VTC) organized a tour for the participating groups in accordance with the rules of the pandemic.

Visitors visited the training facilities of Jalilabad PTM, got acquainted with the existing equipment and services, as well as received detailed information about the rules of admission. Participants also had the opportunity to meet successful graduates of the vocational training center, join master classes and discuss relevant career prospects.

It should be noted that the Open Doors Days are organized within the framework of the EU-funded project "Vocational Education and Training for the Future: Support to the Establishment of Advanced Vocational Education Centers in Azerbaijan" implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the State Agency for Vocational Education. The project aims to modernize vocational schools in Azerbaijan to support the organization of competency-based education. The aim is to help increase the attractiveness of vocational education institutions and their compliance with the requirements of the labor market.
