Prospects for cultural ties between Egypt and Azerbaijan, especially in the field of libraries, were discussed.

Eurasia Diary reports quoting AZERTAC that Azerbaijani Ambassador to Egypt Tural Rzayev met with Chairman of the Central Library of Egypt, Ambassador Rza Tayfi. The sides exchanged views on closer cooperation between Egyptian and Azerbaijani libraries, which have a rich collection of books and manuscripts. For this purpose, the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the central libraries of the two countries, as well as the organization of an exhibition of books about our country in the leading libraries of major Egyptian cities were discussed.

At the end of the meeting, copies of books on the history, cultural heritage, geniuses and nature of Azerbaijan, published by our embassy, ​​as well as kept in our diplomatic mission, were donated to the Central Library of Egypt. An exhibition of about 30 books about Azerbaijan, which attracted great interest of Egyptian readers, was organized in the lobby of the library.
