The monograph "Coccids of some amphibian and reptilian species in Azerbaijan" by Simuzar Mamedova, a senior researcher at the Protozoology Laboratory of the Institute of Zoology, was published.
The institute reported that the monograph provided information on the species composition of coccidia parasitizing amphibians and reptiles, the intensity of infection, and the dependence of coccidia infection on environmental factors.
The book can be used by parasitologists, zoologists and ecologists.
