Well-known public figure, diplomat Ramiz Abutalibov, who died in the Russian capital on January 1, was sent home for burial.

APA's Moscow correspondent reports that the deceased's son-in-law was sent to Baku from Moscow's Domodedovo Airport by a plane belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL).

Ramiz Abutalibov died in the evening of January 1 in a hospital in Moscow, where he had been treated for a long time.

The prominent diplomat will be buried in the 2nd Alley of Honors in Baku tomorrow.
