State Agency for Vocational Education: National competition on cybersecurity starts

The national cyber security competition will start on December 18 to select young people who will represent Azerbaijan at the WorldSkills Shanghai 2022 international skills competition.

According to the State Agency for Vocational Education, young people under the age of 25 can participate in the three-stage competition. Participants selected from among the registered candidates must answer theoretical and practical questions on cyber security in the second stage. In the third stage, technical and theoretical studies await the candidates.

At the end of the competition, the participants with the best results will be included in the national team of the WorldSkills Azerbaijan platform for cyber security and will be involved in the preparation process for the WorldSkills Shanghai 2022 international competition. The two winners will be eligible to represent Azerbaijan at the WorldSkills Shanghai 2022 International Skills Competition on October 12-17, 2022.

Applications for the national cyber security competition are accepted until December 28.

The competition is implemented in cooperation with the State Agency for Vocational Education and the WorldSkills Azerbaijan platform.

It should be noted that WorldSkills Azerbaijan is a national platform for the development of professionalism and skills. The WorldSkills movement, which is known around the world as the organizer of the Olympic Games in various skills, provides an opportunity to train professionals in accordance with the requirements of the labor market and global standards, to integrate these standards into the education system.
