Every year in Nakhchivan, in the spring and autumn seasons, in-depth preventive medical examinations are conducted among high school students.

Tehsil.biz informs the Nakhchivan bureau of AZERTAC that within the framework of the “State Program on Compulsory Medical Examination of Children in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2018-2022” approved by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated October 9, 2018. This year, the medical examination of schoolchildren was first started at Nakhchivan city secondary school No. 1. A team of pediatricians, dentists, cardiologists, orthopedic surgeons, ENT, neurologists, pediatricians and other qualified doctors from the Central Children's Hospital of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic named after Aziz Aliyev took part in the examinations. Relevant consultations, as well as necessary treatment measures were organized for the students who were diagnosed with the disease. Students in need of a thorough examination were registered at the dispensary and invited to the Central Children's Hospital.

The Central Children's Hospital also registered children who did not attend preschool and out-of-school educational institutions. The parents of these children living in the city of Nakhchivan, as well as in the regions of the autonomous republic, are regularly contacted and invited to the hospital for examination.

In-depth medical examinations of children in the city of Nakhchivan, as well as in the regions of the autonomous republic will continue until early December.
